Deviation Actions
- Personal site is still not done, I have had sooo much client work I have not had any real time to work on my own site. I am still trying to figure out how much of a good vs. bad thing it is.
- New photos and designs are going up as I get a chance to edit photos and complete designs I intend to use in my portfolio. Latest updates include a few Grand-Am racing shots and a Mitubishi Evo I shot at a local meet.
- The Mustang is going into the body shot to clean up a few things including the sides, front and rear of the car. Basic road rash and normal wear on the kit all need to be cleaned up as soon as possible. I finally determined the plan for the interior which will include Corbeu racing seats, rear seat delete and re-upholstering the entire interior in Corbeau's Mico-Suede fabric from the same dye batch as the seats so that everything matches 100%.
- Also planning on completing the new engine build this year as well which should support my goal of 850-900rwhp.
All in all things are moving.....

Deviant Groups vs. Flickr Groups
Well first and foremost it can go to "Duh! Matt read the damn rules" but at the same time I feel it highlights a few short comings in a Deviant Art Group as compared to a Flickr Group.
A few things I think DA could incorporate from their Yahoo owned cousin:
- put in barriers based on the rules.
by this I mean if a group limits the number of submissions by member for the day or month then have the system lock it once you hit that limit, instead of allowing the user to post and instead of forcing another moderation task on the side of the group owners. Basically if you as the group owner set limitations the system should be such that it wi
Holidays are over and work resumes...
With the holiday season over it has been business as usual including the massive influx of work after the week and a half long vacation I took there. I think I have finally about recovered from the ordeal and am making a good dent in current projects.
Unfortunately I did not get the 3 personal project sites of mine completed as I wanted to and now they are getting pushed to the side for client work because well, I prefer to get paid =D
Anyway other than that not much else new, I recently uploaded a few more photos form recent racing events of 2009 & 2008 and I have been trying to put together additional web designs I have done to be upload
Moving Along...
So it has been about a week since I joined up, I am finding quite a lot of resources in the stock section which I am sure will be useful in my web designs. I will try to let the creator of such items know if I use them in a given site though I cannot promise I will remember so upfront I just want to say.

So first journal post, first everything really. I previously had a DA account once before and lost track of it only recently finding the time to make my way back. I wanted a place to share some of my designs and my photography and figured there was nowhere better than here =)
A quick bit about me -
I am 29, living between Fredericksburg Va and Phoenix Az and working as a freelance designer mainly in the non-profit and automotive sectors because those are what most interest me. I have been designing and building websites now for a little over 9 years (I still have Macromedia 4 Discs LOL)....
My main background in coding is with PHP and J
